Tamara Sue Johnson Art Consultant / Illustrator

Tamara Sue Johnson, M.S. in Ed. (Tami) was an Art Teacher for Elementary and High School students for thirty two years.  Her original, poignant artwork is used throughout GRACE Project educational materials.

During her tenure as an art teacher, Tami also enjoyed coaching Junior High Basketball, High School Volleyball, Art Club, and Mentoring many talented artists. 
She was the Poland Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence Honoree in 2015.
Tami also worked at The Counseling Center as a Presenter for The Connections Program: an evidence based program of Depression and Suicide Prevention for students in grades 7-12.


Tami is a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists and the Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society.  She enjoys drawing Pet Portraits, Caricatures, Watercolor Painting and Cartooning.  She is currently teaching Adult Art Classes at the Y.M.C.A. 
 

She is grateful for the opportunity to Illustrate Heartwork and serve on the Board of Directors for The GRACE Project.
